Spend smart

Five ways to eat well for under AED 150.

A budget needs an order, not a price symbol. Here are five restaurant stops with published menu choices below AED 150 per person.

THE QUICK ANSWER

A budget needs an order, not a price symbol. Here are five restaurant stops with published menu choices below AED 150 per person.

These are five specific orders, not five promises that an entire restaurant menu fits your budget. Choose JLT for Bait Maryam or Daikan Ramen, City Walk for Daikan Izakaya, DIFC for LPM, and The Lakes for Reform. The JLT examples include water; the other three are food-only. Book the exact branch and service window: a weekday lunch rate does not follow you into dinner, and a weekend roast does not appear on Tuesday. Use the table below for the arithmetic, then confirm the current menu before leaving.

Plan the actual visit

The actual order, the actual starting bill

All five examples have published food prices below AED 150 per person for the items stated. LPM's AED 135 is a menu price, not a verified final bill. We checked published menus, not receipts from visits. Extra orders change the total.

Named orders from published menus, price evidence checked 21 September 2026
Restaurant, area and orderAED per personBooking constraint and exclusions
Bait Maryam, JLT Cluster D: shish tawook main + small water58 + 12 = 70Individual menu order; confirm seating and any additional dishes with the branch
Daikan Ramen, JLT: shoyu + small Voss water55 + 17 = 72Use the JLT menu; VAT included, sides and toppings extra
Daikan Izakaya, City Walk: OG ramen + matcha tiramisu72 + 46 = 118Book City Walk, not the JLT ramen branch; drinks extra
LPM, DIFC: Petit lunch, starter + main135Weekdays until 3:30pm, excluding public holidays; confirm taxes and fees as well as drinks and supplements
Reform, The Lakes: chicken roast130Saturday and Sunday from noon; book the roast sitting, not a weekday table
DIFC closure correction, 7 October 2026
BOCA’s DIFC location closed after final service on 31 March 2026. Its former two-course offer at AED 128.40 and three-course offer at AED 155.15 are withdrawn. LPM’s menu was checked on 5 October; the other four examples retain their 21 September source check.
Leave some breathing room
LPM lists AED 135 for food, but we have not established its final tax and fee inclusions. The apparent AED 15 margin may not cover those charges or your chosen drink. Set a food budget below the ceiling or ask for a complete bill estimate.
Different orders, different totals
Reform lists nut roast at AED 115 and beef roast at AED 140 as alternatives to the chicken roast, not included additions. Extra dishes and drinks change the bill.
Booking is part of the budget
Use the named branch and menu in your reservation. LPM excludes public holidays, and Reform's roast is a weekend offer. Ask about deposits, supplements and the full bill before you commit a group.

Useful answers

Before you book.

Does AED 150 include drinks?

Only the Bait Maryam and Daikan JLT examples include the named water. The other examples cover food only. Alcohol, additional dishes, supplements, transport and parking are not included.

Can I use these prices at dinner or on weekends?

Not all of them. LPM prices are for weekday lunch menus. BOCA DIFC is closed and its former offer is excluded. LPM's published window ends at 3:30pm and excludes public holidays. Reform's quoted roasts run from noon on Saturday and Sunday. Daikan and Bait Maryam examples use individual menu items; confirm availability with the branch.

Why include restaurants with higher usual spend bands?

A specific lunch or roast can cost less than the restaurant's typical evening bill. We include those named orders, not a claim that every meal there is under AED 150.
