Breakfast costs and kitchen times, untangled

A pub can be open while a particular menu is not. Here is the distinction before anyone promises the group pancakes at 4pm.

Breakfast for two
The current breakfast menu lists Full English at AED 120 and pancakes at AED 68. One of each totals AED 188 before drinks or extras. Two Full English breakfasts total AED 240.
Breakfast versus all-day breakfast
The breakfast menu runs 8am to noon. The venue separately advertises Full English all day; that does not make the entire breakfast menu available all day. Restaurant service runs noon to 11pm.
Friday is different
Selected happy-hour drinks are AED 37, 4pm to 8pm Monday to Thursday and noon to 8pm on Friday. Tuesday curry night is now AED 135 for three courses, not the older AED 125 offer.

The room

The lakeside garden is the headline, but the bar and dining room make this an all-weather local rather than a seasonal cameo. It feels more neighbourhood institution than hotel restaurant, which is exactly the point.

How to play it

Breakfast is calm, Wednesday quiz night is not, and the weekend roast rewards advance planning. Bring the group, book outdoors when Dubai permits and accept that lunch may turn into happy hour.

What makes it different

Few Dubai restaurants can move convincingly from a Full English to family lunch, football, private dinner and late drinks in the same day. Reform can, without the room ever feeling like it is trying too hard.
